CEO Works is a national reentry nonprofit. The people it wanted to reach are inside correctional facilities, where the phones can only place outbound collect calls through the facility phone system.
So any coaching line has to answer a collect call, accept the charges, and hold a real conversation on the other end.
The facility phone places a collect call. Twilio answers, sends the keypress that accepts the charges, and streams the audio to our server, which bridges it to an ElevenLabs agent.
ElevenLabs does the listening and the voice, but what the agent knows comes from us: the server sets its instructions on every call, and its tools read and write our own database. After the call, the transcript and a summary land in Postgres and on the case manager's dashboard.
It runs in CEO Works' own AWS account through a role they can revoke, with no long-lived credentials, and deploys in 60 to 90 seconds. Since July 2026, personal details are stripped before the summary AI sees a transcript. Built with Mike Fishbein on engineering.
Live at one Florida correctional facility. 20 concurrent real calls with 0 failures, every call transcribed and processed.
The nonprofit's security firm reviewed it and listed 9 infrastructure gaps. All 9 were closed and verified in April 2026, and its vCISO recommended an Arizona pilot proceed.
